An orienteering course set from Switzerland's Spiffing Ales brewery.
Travel on foot, or on mountain bike, and finish with the freshest beer
in the Zurich region! It's a rogaine course, so earn points by visiting as many checkpoints as you can
in 5 hours.

Comments: You have 5 hours to visit as many checkpoints as possible; we provide good maps,
list of the checkpoints (and their point values), and plenty of delicious beer at the finish line.
Some run, some walk, and we've just added a bike category . . . but everyone
enjoys the beautiful forested ridge overlooking the Zurichsee and
with views to the Alps.
Here are directions to the Brewery. Space is limited. The price is 35 CHF and -- besides a great orienteering experience -- includes the party at the
Brewery including pizza and excellent beer!

Spiffing Ales - Eintägiger OL Wettkampf
Ein OL Wettkampf ausgehend von der
Spiffing Ales Brauerei, in Uetikon am rechten Zürichseeufer. Der OL
wird zu Fuss oder auf dem Mountainbike bestritten und endet mit dem
frischesten Bier in der Region Zürich. Ziel ist es, so viele Punkte wie
möglich zu erreichen, in dem möglichst viele Posten innerhalb von
maximal 5 Stunden gestempelt werden.
Datum: Samstag, 21.
November 2009 Schwierigkeit: Beginner bis Experte
Dauer: 11:00 - 17:00 (mit einer Feier nach dem Rennen bis spät)
Anmerkungen: Den Teilnehmern stehen maximal 5 Stunden zur Verfügung, in
denen möglichst viele Posten gestempelt werden; gutes Kartenmaterial,
eine Liste mit den Posten (und deren Punktwert), sowie viel köstliches
Spiffing Ales im Ziel wird von uns zur Verfügung gestellt. Einige
rennen, andere laufen und neu gibt es auch eine Bike-Kategorie… alle
werden jedoch die tolle Gegend mit Blick über den Zürichsee und in die
Alpen geniessen können.
Wegbeschreibung zur Brauerei (Start und Ziel). Die Startgebühr beträgt CHF 35.- und schliesst neben einem grossartigen
OL Erlebnis die Party nach dem Wettkampf mit Pizza und herrlichem Bier
ein!
